Subscriber Home

Upon logging in, you will find listed on the Subscriber Home page various tables and a link to your portfolios.

How to Quick Search - You can search for a single security by name, CUSIP, or symbol using the Quick Search field.

Name - enter the full name or partial name of an issue or issuer (i.e. "Central" for Jersey Central Power and Light); CUSIP - enter the full 9 character or the first 8 character identifier or a partial identifier; Symbol - our data most often uses ticker [space] PR[series] (NXY PRA) or, if no series, GAB PR. If you can't find a match, try a partial symbol or the common stock symbol.

How to Custom Search - Use this feature to search for a group of securities within a defined range. Enter data in, or select one or more of, the fields to narrow your search.

Maturity - not all preferred securities are issued with a final maturity. Unless you know the final maturity of a security, leave this blank; Rating - Minimum refers to the lowest (more risk) rating; Maximum refers to the highest (less risk) rating. If you only want securities of the same rating, enter the same rating in each field; Coupon/Dividend - Search results may display coupon or dividend. If a coupon displays, click the CUSIP for Security Detail. Annual dividend displays on this page if information is available. Current Yield - Enter values as 0.00.

My Portfolios - Enter securities in up to five portfolios.

• The 8 or 9 character CUSIP identifier is required for this feature. CUSIPs are provided for all securities in PreferredsOnline;
• Email alerts are provided, as an option, for various announcements and will be sent to the email address specified in the "My Account" section;
• The Symbol field is provided to allow you to more easily identify securities by ticker and text:

Why Are Some Securities Missing Information?

• New securities are added continually at the time that a CUSIP is assigned. Normally, these will have very little descriptive information at the beginning and more will fill in over time;
• Private placements. Securities issued as a private placement or as a restricted offering not trading on an exchange may not display extensive information, as they may not be required to file information with regulatory agencies;
• Call dates. Technical limitations in the databases of some or our data partners have made it difficult for them to deliver call dates to us in a workable format. This is being corrected and call dates are continually being added;
• No prospectus. If a "Prospectus Available" link does not display, let us know. If a prospectus has been electronically filed with a regulatory agency we will provide a link.
